Inclined elevator Lindliweg, Schaffhausen

The system was put into operation in September 2010. It accesses eight newly built residential units and four existing houses on the right. The architect's color concept keeps all accesses in red. The doors, station door wings and cabin all are red in color.

This system is special because it has an additional tractor unit that parks at the upper end of the route and can be coupled to the vehicle if required. The elevator then moves at a reduced speed and must be called by key switch at the stations.
