6 luxurious houses have been built on the former Chantarella-Bahn rail route in St. Moritz. Residents can come from the three-storey garage to the level of their access corridor with eight stations. The inclined elevator travels underground and not in a straight line to the houses over a distance of around 150m, handling bends along the way. That is why the elevator requires two cables and a compensating mechanism in order to handle the different lengthening, which is a tremendous innovation in the construction of inclined elevators.
