In the summer of 2011, we were able to deliver a new 8-jig-back ropeway to the largest city of Southern Thailand. It provides access to several Buddhist temples in the hills above the city of Hat Yai.
To accommodate the masses and to protect the temples from traffic, Hat Yai has developed a modern, car-free traffic concept.
Our compact ropeway was found to be the best system for this. Today, it takes hundreds of pilgrims to the sacred places on the mountain every day. In the densely forested terrain, a new concept was used for the cables - the throw cable was inserted by model plane.
