The pump Pumpspeicherwerk Obervermuntwerk II in Austrian Vorarlberg was a 500 M Euro project of Vorarlberger Illwerke AG. After commissioning in 2018, the power plant will supply peak and regular power with up to 360 Megawatt.
Cable placement of the line to take the power down to the alley was a large project for Inauen-Schätti. The entire installation was planned in the 3D-CAD in advance so that the project could be implemented with maximum planning safety. About 1635 saddle shells were installed in a tunnel length of approx. 2 km in the elaborate installation in June 2017.
